On Saturday 25 October, over 1,600 participants came together for a night to remember – All Night Long, a groundbreaking event that united two powerhouse charities for the first time: Ronald McDonald House Charities South East Queensland (RMHC SEQ) and the Children’s Hospital Foundation (CHF).
From dusk till dawn, the energy was nothing short of electric. Participants walked, danced, and rallied through the night, driven by a shared purpose: to support Queensland’s sickest kids and their families. Thanks to the incredible commitment of our community, an astounding $1.1million has been raised – and counting! These funds will help give more kids access to life-saving treatments, along with support for their families while their child is sick.
The event wasn’t just about fundraising – it was about storytelling, connection, and community. Throughout the night, families bravely shared their journeys, reminding us of why we were there. Their stories of resilience, loss, and hope brought such inspiration, grounding the event in its true purpose.
A special thank-you goes to the Maggie Moo team, who courageously spoke in front of the crowd about the loss of their daughter, Maggie, earlier this year. Their story moved everyone present and reminded us of the deep impact our support can have. Their strength and dedication saw them become our second highest fundraising team – an incredible achievement that honours Maggie’s memory in the most powerful way.
This event would not have been possible without the 120 volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes and throughout the night. From setting up to cheering on participants throughout the course, their dedication and encouragement were the backbone of the event.
The atmosphere was nothing short of magical – filled with music, movement, and moments of reflection. As the night wore on and legs grew sore, blisters formed, and sweat poured; participants pushed through with unwavering determination. Every step, no matter how challenging, was taken with purpose and heart.
All Night Long was more than an event – it was a movement. We’re incredibly proud of our partnership with CHF and what we’ve achieved together. By joining forces, we’ve shown what’s possible when two passionate organisations unite for a shared cause. Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, donated, and sponsored. You’ve helped light the way for countless Queensland families – and we can’t wait to do it all again in 2026.
