Small treat. Big impact.
Parents and carers of ill and injured children often don’t have the time, funds or energy to cook baked treats and snacks like they normally would, especially after a long and emotional day at the hospital.
You’re invited to step into our kitchen to prepare comforting, freshly-baked snacks and treats.
As part of this experience, you will be preparing food for up to 130 people. This requires a minimum of 5 people and a maximum of 10 people. All participants must be over 18 years old.
The Baking a Difference Program works across our Herston and South Brisbane Houses:
Ronald McDonald House Herston – every Thursday
Ronald McDonald House South Brisbane – every Friday
$500 plus GST
This financial contribution helps cover the cost of your volunteering experience. It includes all the ingredients required to provide snacks for over 130 people, utensils and RMHC SEQ employees, who will assist you in the preparation and serving of food and take you on a tour of the House.
You will receive an email with an invoice within 5- 7 days after completing the booking form.
