Volunteer With Us

Making a positive impact in your community.

We couldn’t achieve what we do without the invaluable help and contribution of our volunteers. We depend on our team of dedicated volunteers to help us run our programs, events, and support families going through some of their toughest times.
Volunteering is a great way to use your skills and meet new people, all while making a difference to families with ill or injured children. Our volunteers have the choice of working in our Ronald McDonald houses at Herston, South Brisbane or the Queensland Children’s Hospital (QCH), in our Family Rooms at QCH and the Gold Coast University Hospital, Learning Program or at fundraising events.

RMHC SEQ offers a selection of diverse and rewarding volunteer opportunities to suit your needs, skill set or interest, and we’re here to help find the right role for you.

  • Guest Ambassador
  • Cooking and baking volunteers
  • Kids Club support
  • Event and fundraising support
  • Volunteer driver
  • Family Room volunteers
No matter the role, when you volunteer with RMHC SEQ, you make a valuable contribution and become part of a global community that is recognised and admired throughout the world.

If you require further information, please contact Volunteering.SEQ@rmhc.org.au or phone (07) 3845 1620.

Make a difference for families and children

Parents don’t know when their children will need medical help. But they should know they can always access the care they need. With your help, we can support them all throughout their journey.
