Volunteer With Us

Helping hands make happy hearts

Without our team of dedicated and hard-working volunteers we couldn’t do all the things we need to do to care for the families with ill or injured children who need our support. We depend on our team of dedicated volunteers to help us run our programs, events, and support families going through some of their toughest times.

Volunteering is a great way to use your skills and meet new people, all while making a difference to families with ill or injured children. At RMHC SEQ, small acts make a big difference. For most of our roles, you don’t need any special skills, just a compassionate heart and the ability to commit to regular shifts.  Everyone already knows how to do the things that make the biggest difference at RMHC SEQ.

Once you’ve attended an information session, we’ll send you an email with a link so you can complete an application through MyImpactWe will then be in contact with you directly to organise a meet and greet onsite.

There are few things we need to do before you can start volunteering with us. This includes mandatory checks and some online training.  We’ll also need you to sign a volunteer agreement.

Hospital based volunteers are required to complete additional hospital-based onboarding requirements and to be vaccinated against preventable diseases.
