At just four months old, Tobias was rushed from Cairns to Townsville. What was thought to be teething ended up with him fighting for his life with meningococcal disease.
His parents, Katie and Stephen, spent 169 nights at Ronald McDonald House while Tobias underwent life-saving treatment. The House gave them meals, a bed, and the comfort of staying close together.
