A small treat. Big impact.
Parents and carers of ill and injured children often don’t have the time, funds or energy to cook baked treats and snacks like they normally would, especially after a long and emotional day at the hospital.
You’re invited to step into our kitchen to prepare comforting, freshly-baked snacks and treats. Families feel cared and supported when they are welcomed home to a tray of warm, delicious baked goods.
The Baking a Difference Program is an incredible opportunity for groups of all kinds to step into our kitchen and make a meaningful difference for families; helping make our house feel like home.
Our Baking a Difference Program works across our Herston and South Brisbane Houses. To participate, we require groups between 5 and 10 people.
Below are the allocated days for Baking a Difference Program:
Thursday: Herston House
Friday: South Brisbane House
